Waterway Pressure Relief Valve Assembly

This heavy-duty manual air relief valve is furnished to aid in bleeding unwanted air when starting the filter. This work with Waterway's Crystal Water D.E filters and Crystal Water Cartridge filters. 

After each service or initial installation, before starting the pump:

1. Verify the filter body clamp is properly assembled 
2. Close filter drain 
3. Open all system valves to allow normal system operation 
4. Place the heavy-duty air relief valve in the open position 
5. Stand at least 10 feet clear from the filter before starting the pump 
6. Return to the filter to close the air relief valve only when a steady stream of water is discharged from the valve
